Supply Coordination for Rubber Additives for a Pakistani Compound Manufacturer
India & Pakistan — Pakistan — Rubber & Plastics Additives

The challenge
A Pakistani rubber compound manufacturer supplying the local automotive and industrial goods sector needed a structured supply programme for antioxidants and processing aids. Their ad-hoc purchasing approach led to frequent reformulation work when additive suppliers changed specifications without notice.
Our approach
Essencia Trade coordinated a supplier qualification process, reviewing available documentation (TDS, SDS, REACH compliance statements) for multiple additive product lines. We established a quarterly supply programme with agreed specification sheets for each additive category, coordinated consolidated shipments to reduce freight cost per unit, and set up a documentation update protocol requiring 30-day advance notice of any specification changes.
Results
The customer stabilised their additive supply across 5 product categories. Reformulation work due to supplier specification changes dropped from 3-4 incidents per year to zero in the first year of the programme. Consolidated shipping reduced logistics cost per shipment by approximately 15%.
“When you compound for industrial customers, formulation stability is everything. Knowing your additive specification won't change without notice gives you confidence to commit to your own customers.”
